Quickstart

This guide will get you all set up and ready to use the Protocol API. We'll cover how to get started using one of our API clients and how to make your first API request. We'll also look at where to go next to find all the information you need to take full advantage of our powerful REST API.

Choose your client

Before making your first API request, you can use cURL to send HTTP requests. In the following example, you’ll see how to set up and make requests using cURL.

# cURL is most likely already installed on your machine
curl --version

Making your first API request

Below is an example that demonstrates how to send a request to scrape article content.

GET
/v1/scraper/content
curl -X 'GET' \
  'https://api.autoscraper.pro/v1/scraper/content?url=https%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2F' \
  -H 'accept: application/json' \
  -H 'x-api-key: {API_KEY}'

What's next?
